Microsoft PowerPoint Zoom allows you to create more dynamic and exciting presentations. The Zoom feature gives the presenter the ability to jump to and from any portion of their presentation while presenting.
CURRENT AVAILABLILITY (March 2020)
There are 3 types of Zooms that can be used in PowerPoint.
A Summary Zoom is similar to a table of contents within your presentation. While presenting the presenter can use the Summary Zoom to navigate to different portions of the presentation. This allows the presenter to quickly change up the content they wish to present making the presentation less linear and more dynamic.
Go to INSERT -- ZOOM -- SUMMARY ZOOM
A Section Zoom is like a link to a specific Section within the presentation. Sections are created by adding a section slide or right clicking on a slide and selecting Add Section.
Go to INSERT -- ZOOM -- SECTION ZOOM
From this window select the section you wish to link to.
A Slide Zoom allows you to create links to specific slides in the presentations. This, in turn, allows th presenter to navigate freely to any slide in the presentation without interupting the flow.
Go to INSERT -- ZOOM -- SLIDE ZOOM
